Senior Corporate Accountant About the Company We are a high-growth, private-equity–backed SaaS company providing innovative software solutions. As we scale rapidly, we are building a robust finance organization to support accurate reporting, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making. Position Overview The Senior Corporate Accountant will manage key aspects of corporate accounting, including cash reconciliations, payroll accounting, benefit accruals, prepaid accounting, and expense review. This individual will ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with GAAP, while supporting month-end close and other ad hoc financial projects. This role will report to Senior Manager, GL & Corporate Accounting

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to SaaS or high-growth companies. Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practices. Hands-on experience with cash reconciliations, payroll accounting, accruals, prepaid accounting, and expense analysis.
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Workday). Strong Excel and data analysis skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines. Proven track record of process improvement and automation.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA, CMA, or other accounting certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Cash & Bank Reconciliations Perform and review daily, weekly, and monthly cash reconciliations. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank accounts, ERP, and sub-ledgers. Ensure proper cash classification, bank account monitoring, and internal controls.
  • Benefit Accruals & Payroll Accounting Maintain accurate accruals for employee benefits, bonuses, and payroll-related expenses. Record and reconcile payroll journal entries and related liabilities. Partner with HR and Payroll providers to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Month-End Close & Reporting Support Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. Support internal and external audit requests related to corporate accounting functions. Contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Finance, HR, Payroll, and Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Support ad hoc projects, analyses, and process improvements as assigned.
