Responsible for managing ongoing long-range financial forecasting and planning in addition to the monthly forecast process for Macy’s Inc. Provide guidance and oversight for the forecast and 3-year planning processes for Macy's Inc. working closely with Division and Corporate partners to identify and explain significant variances to plan. Prepare complex analysis to provide valuable insights for business partners, senior management and the Board of Directors. The position will also lead the overall cash flow planning and forecasting process to help guide and protect the Company’s liquidity position. Perform other duties as assigned. This position is based out of Springdale, OH.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university
• 5 plus years related experience
• Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
• Must have above average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
• Dynamic, curious and passionate about their work
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels including Senior management
• Resilient leader who possesses the ability to persevere in demanding situations

• Advanced skills of MS Office computer programs including Excel and PowerPoint are required

• Experience with Oracle and Onestream is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide complex strategic and detailed analytical modeling that drives decision making for Macy's Inc (Macy’s Brand, Bloomingdales and BlueMercury) as it relates to Long-Range plans. Continuously evaluate existing processes and identify areas for opportunity and optimization.
• Extract, manipulate and analyze data from various data sources to influence and support business strategies.
• Serve as a subject matter expect in terms of special projects to provide valuable and complex analysis for projects from the CFO or SVP of finance. Be able to translate complex analysis through concise storytelling to explain variances and other analysis to executive management.
• Taking the initiative on key projects with limited oversight related to scenario analysis and projects requiring a quick turnaround time to support urgent business requests
• Prepare various monthly ad hoc analysis and financial reporting for senior management
• Regularly communicate updates and status to senior management and stakeholders pertaining to the Plan and Forecast
• Position is responsible for the management of the monthly and annual cash flow forecasting and planning process including managing workstreams across the company and engaging directly with the forecasting of interest, taxes and shares outstanding
• Collaborate with key business leaders across all Divisions
