About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and analytically driven Senior Data Analyst to join our growth team supporting mobile card games. This role is data-first, with user acquisition as the primary business domain. You will be responsible for analyzing performance data, identifying trends, and translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations that influence UA strategy, creative direction, and product decisions. In this role, you will work closely with User Acquisition, Creative, Product, and Finance partners to evaluate paid acquisition performance across channels such as Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, and additional ad networks. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, comfort working with large datasets, and the ability to clearly communicate how you arrived at conclusions—regardless of whether outcomes are definitive.

Requirements

  • 5 plus years of experience in a data, analytics, or analytical marketing role, ideally supporting User Acquisition or growth teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain how you arrived at an answer, not just the outcome
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics such as CPI, ROAS, retention, and LTV
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present insights clearly, logically, and confidently
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple analyses or workstreams simultaneously
  • Interest in mobile gaming and curiosity around user behavior, monetization, and experimentation
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience analyzing performance data for products with hybrid IAP and IAA monetization models preferred
  • High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with SQL, Tableau, Looker, Python, or similar tools is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user acquisition performance across 2–4 mobile game titles, focusing on data integrity, trend analysis, and performance drivers
  • Evaluate and surface insights on key metrics including ROAS, CPI, retention, LTV, and install volume
  • Partner with UA managers to inform campaign optimization decisions through data-driven analysis, not just execution
  • Design and analyze A/B tests across creative, targeting, and bidding strategies, clearly explaining methodology and outcomes
  • Build clear, structured analysis decks and reports that communicate insights, assumptions, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Creative teams by analyzing ad performance, funnel conversion, and store listing effectiveness to inform iteration
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Finance to align acquisition performance with broader company goals
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify performance benchmarks and growth opportunities
  • Help develop scalable reporting frameworks, dashboards, and documentation to improve analytical efficiency and consistency
  • Emphasize process, reasoning, and clarity of thought when solving ambiguous or open-ended problems
