We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Operations team. This unique role combines analytical expertise focused on supplier data evaluations with hands-on sales operations responsibilities. By working collaboratively with a cross-functional team of analysts, engineers, and product experts, you’ll ensure that the data we receive from suppliers is accurate, consistent, and ready for use in our products. As a member of the Data Operations team, you will also be supporting sales operation activities such as customer onboarding, deliveries, and ongoing technical support. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative and open mind, hold their ideas loosely, and be excited about diving into data and improving processes in a supportive but fast-paced professional environment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
  • Expert-level SQL skills (Snowflake preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Python for automation and data transformation.
  • Skilled in building dashboards and reporting preferably with Tableau, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
  • Experience with AWS services and big data technologies (e.g., S3, Athena, DynamoDB).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact directly with customers and internal teams.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, and eager to continuously learn and improve.

Nice To Haves

  • Have experience with geospatial data (ArcGIS, CartoDB, QGIS, etc.).
  • Are familiar with Agile methodologies.
  • Have experience in Snowflake.
  • Have experience in an ETL tool like Matillion
  • Are comfortable with the Linux/Unix command line.
  • Bring a strong customer service orientation.
  • Believe in keeping solutions simple and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and validate incoming supplier data for quality, reliability, and consistency, including overlap analysis, uniqueness, data component fill rates and format.
  • Automate data checks and perform statistical analyses using SQL and Python.
  • Develop dashboards, frameworks and repeatable processes to monitor supplier performance, data quality metrics, and trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to flag issues, resolve discrepancies, and improve supplier data.
  • Present clear, actionable insights from supplier evaluations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Pull and analyze data from internal platforms and Snowflake to support customer and internal team needs.
  • Produce analytics from our Geo-Signals Cloud and customer data, deriving unique insights and value from big data.
  • Support requests from our Sales and Product teams for data and analytics products which support existing customers and prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with internal/external customers by asking the right questions and gathering requirements that will deliver the correct data to those customers.
  • Support data improvement and data quality efforts by highlighting and communicating data issues observed when producing data and analytics products
  • Develop interactive data visualizations using Tableau in order to derive insights and support decision making efforts for the business
  • Configure and manage data delivery jobs using AWS and internal tools to support customer onboarding and custom deliveries.
  • Provide direct customer support, answering data-related questions and troubleshooting delivery issues.
  • Manage API key creation, monitor usage metrics, and provide API-related support.
  • Write SQL queries in Snowflake to support customer requests and internal reporting needs.
  • Participate in QA processes to ensure delivered datasets meet customer requirements.
  • Create analysis summaries, dashboards, and visualizations (Tableau, Google Sheets) for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Automate delivery processes and identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Document processes, track progress, and ensure operational tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of analysts, engineers, and product experts to deliver customer solutions.

  • The typical base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000.
