About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer / Data Architect with strong Microsoft Azure expertise and exposure to Microsoft Fabric. This is a part-time advisory and hands-on role focused on designing, optimizing, and supporting modern cloud data architecture.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure data services.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Experience designing enterprise-level data architectures.
• Proficiency in Power BI for reporting and visualization.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
• Ability to work independently in a part-time advisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable Azure-based data solutions.
• Work extensively with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory and related data services.
• Support and guide implementation within Microsoft Fabric environments.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data models.
• Collaborate on reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI.
• Provide architectural guidance, best practices, and mentorship (Fabric trainee-level support as needed).
• Participate in a monthly onsite session (~2 hours) in Southern California.
