You will shape foundational data architecture, guide technical approaches, and partner closely with teams across the business.

Requirements

  • Experience 4 or more years of hands‑on data engineering experience.
  • Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in Python and Structured Query Language Experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, and orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect Familiarity with cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud) Experience with infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Docker, or Kubernetes Strong understanding of analytical databases such as Redshift, Athena, or BigQuery

Responsibilities

  • Design and build data pipelines
  • Create, optimize, and maintain robust data pipelines using Python and Structured Query Language.
  • Transform and manage data
  • Develop scalable transformations and models to support analytics, product, and operational teams across the business.
  • Lead and mentor
  • Guide junior engineers, promote clean and testable code, and share best practices to elevate the team.
  • Improve deployment and tooling
  • Enhance deployment workflows and contribute to strong continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Shape data architecture
  • Collaborate on long‑term architecture decisions and project planning efforts that influence the future of our data platform.
  • Troubleshoot and support
  • Resolve issues across pipelines and platforms, and participate in on‑call rotation to keep systems healthy and supported.
