In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architecture to support comprehensive data management solutions. Your contributions will ensure efficient data flow and processing, enabling the organization to handle large-scale datasets effectively. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to translate complex data requirements into effective engineering solutions. Additionally, you will guide junior engineers, uphold data quality standards, and stay updated on emerging technologies to foster innovation. Requirements
- Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field and 3 years of experience, or a Bachelorâs degree with 5 years of experience.
- 2 years of experience in data engineering and optimizing databases and data pipelines.
- Proficient in SQL and Python for advanced data manipulation.
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or other RDBMS.
- Knowledge of data modeling and architecture for large-scale environments.
- At least one major cloud data platform experience (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Experience with Spark and Cloud ETL tools like Databricks.
- Ability to develop data models for business intelligence and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize robust data pipelines using SQL, Python, and cloud-based ETL tools.
- Ensure efficient data flow and processing to support large-scale data handling.
- Develop and refine data models that accurately represent business processes.
- Enhance data architecture strategy related to storage, consumption, integration, and management.
- Lead Agile/SCRUM processes to ensure timely project delivery.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineering teams on data requirements.
- Guide and mentor junior data engineers.
- Monitor and enhance the performance of data infrastructure.
- Generate comprehensive documentation for data processes and architectures.
