As a Senior Data Governance Analyst, you will play a critical role in strengthening PMI’s enterprise data governance capabilities. You will help develop, implement, and mature the frameworks, policies, and processes that ensure our data is accurate, secure, trusted, and used effectively across the organization. This role is highly collaborative, requiring partnership with business units, IT, analytics teams, and data stewards to drive data quality excellence and operationalize governance best practices.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Commutable distance to Tampa, FL.
  • Strong SQL skills with an ability to extract, analyze, and validate complex datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with data governance tools, especially Atlan and Profisee.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and data visualization techniques; Power BI experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with data management principles, metadata frameworks, and industry best practices (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain data governance policies, standards, and processes to ensure high-quality, trusted data across the organization.
  • Enhance and streamline existing data management workflows to improve consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Monitor, track, and report on data governance metrics, including data quality, adoption, and organizational maturity.
  • Conduct regular data quality assessments, audits, and remediation activities.
  • Enforce governance guidelines and ensure adherence across systems and teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners—including business units, IT, and analytics teams—to support data quality initiatives and governance alignment.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to stakeholders on data governance best practices, policies, and tools.
  • Leverage governance platforms (e.g., Atlan, Profisee) to support metadata management, MDM processes, stewardship workflows, and issue resolution.
