About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist with expertise in healthcare data, machine learning, and physiologic signal processing.Reporting to our Senior Manager, Analytics, in this role, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop advanced algorithms that extract actionable insights from complex datasets, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) and physiologic waveform data (e.g., ECG, PPG, arterial pressure).

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in a related field (Data Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biostatistics or related field)
  • 3+ years of previous experience working with healthcare data, including EHR and/or physiologic waveform data
  • Proficiency in Python and common data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
  • Strong foundation in signal processing techniques (e.g., filtering, Fourier analysis, feature extraction, denoising).
  • Experience developing and deploying machine learning models, including supervised and unsupervised methods.
  • Familiarity with database systems and SQL; experience with Snowflake or AWS Athena is a plus.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and clinical terminology (ICD, LOINC, SNOMED) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and validate data-driven models to analyze healthcare datasets including EHR, time-series vital signs, and physiologic waveform data.
  • Analyze data from existing products to identify evidence of clinical or operational impact and uncover additional insights to guide improvements or new features.
  • Apply advanced signal processing techniques to extract meaningful features from high-frequency data streams.
  • Build, train, and deploy machine learning models (traditional and deep learning) to support predictive analytics, clinical decision support, and patient monitoring systems.
  • Collaborate remotely with clinicians, engineers, and data engineers to define requirements, ensure data quality, and translate clinical problems into computational solutions.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and develop visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Work with structured and unstructured healthcare data, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
  • Contribute to the design of scalable data pipelines for real-time or batch processing of physiologic signals and EHR-derived features.
