Job Description Job Duties: Build and work with SQL Servers for database administration, replication, upgrade servers, and performance tune queries. Implement and maintain cloud servers using scripts and create user accounts. Monitor server performance on on-premises and cloud servers. Analyze and support assigned work tickets on a daily basis. Collaborate with other teams on project work assigned and meet project deadlines. Be available for on-call rotation every 5 months. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field plus five years of experience in database administrator or related occupation. Special Skill Requirements: 5 years of progressively responsible experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Experience must include at minimum: 5 years of experience with the implementation and support of database replication; 5 years of experience with large databases, upgrades, and troubleshooting performance; 5 years of experience with SQL Server High Availability Architecture (AlwaysOn) and troubleshooting; 5 years of experience with SQL Server configuration and management including MS SQL Server installations and mission-critical systems; 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL coding and stored procedures; 5 years of experience with cloud technologies to support database engines including AWS Database Engines; 5 years of experience working with SANs storage as related to SQL Server; and 2 years of experience with Python scripting or PowerShell.
