About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer - REMOTE. This role is pivotal in managing and scaling infrastructure across diverse global operations, including regions such as Canada, the United States, Brazil, and Australia. The successful candidate will support decentralized operations while enforcing centralized standards for infrastructure and automation. You'll collaborate closely with IT teams of over 20 independently operated business units, contributing to the overall technological landscape. Your expertise will not only enhance cloud and system infrastructures but also ensure operational excellence across various platforms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, CloudOps, or Systems Engineering role
  • Strong hands-on experience with both AWS and Azure
  • Experience with JumpCloud, Azure AD, and M365 administration
  • Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of networking, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and routing
  • Experience with Okta (SSO, MFA, lifecycle management)
  • Comfortable supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux systems
  • Solid experience with Cloudflare management
  • Ability to work across multiple business units with varying technical maturity
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership mindset

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure)
  • Own and manage DNS, networking, VPNs, and infrastructure components across hybrid environments
  • Administer and optimize Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and JumpCloud directory services
  • Integrate and manage identity and access using Okta and SSO technologies
  • Support and maintain Cloudflare configurations (DNS, WAF, Zero Trust)
  • Lead and evolve DevOps practices: infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, automation
  • Provide remote system administration support for Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
  • Oversee and participate in L1/L2 IT support escalations where required across the portfolio
  • Monitor system health and performance, respond to incidents, and support on-call operations as needed
  • Partner with Business Unit IT teams to support infrastructure, security, and operational needs
  • Ensure alignment with cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA)
