  • Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government).

Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, and harden Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, or similar) for production and non‑production environments.
  • Manage system-level services, kernel tuning, storage, networking, and performance optimization.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Support hybrid or cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Own the release management process, including planning, versioning, tagging, packaging, and deployment coordination.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Ensure consistent, repeatable, and automated deployment workflows across environments.
  • Partner with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth, predictable releases.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and operational tasks to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
  • Maintain configuration management frameworks and enforce environment consistency.
  • Develop scripts and tooling (Python, Bash, Go, or similar) to support operational efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices across servers, pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Support patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives (SOC2, ISO, PCI, etc.).
  • Build and maintain observability stacks (logging, metrics, tracing) using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Datadog.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response, driving root-cause analysis and long-term fixes.
  • Serve as a senior technical resource and mentor for DevOps and engineering team members.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve deployment velocity, system resilience, and operational maturity.
  • Document standards, runbooks, and architectural patterns.
