About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead complex Development, Security, and Operations initiatives, ensuring that network and IT infrastructure are secure by design. Working within integration and continuous development cycles, this role embeds security controls throughout the development process and implements automated security control processes to enhance system reliability and compliance. Responsibilities include managing source control, monitoring processes, performing risk analysis, handling incident response, and evaluating, selecting, and implementing technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve system security and performance. The engineer delivers advanced, fully functional systems supporting containerized, orchestrated, multi-component environments, provides technical guidance and mentorship to team members, contributes to system architecture, and establishes and expands DevSecOps capabilities across the organization. As a Senior DevSecOps/SRE your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Architect and maintain automated infrastructure at scale. Lead design of CI/CD pipelines and release processes. Define observability practices across systems and applications. Implement auto-scaling and failover strategies. Mentor junior DevOps/SRE team members.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • 10+ years in DevSecOps/SRE.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms.
  • Proven experience building robust CI/CD pipelines.
  • Advanced scripting and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Strong knowledge of system reliability, scaling, and distributed systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
