About The Position

PetLab Co. is the world leader in the DTC pet supplement market with 40%+ market share and 9-figure revenues. With a loyal community of over 3 million happy dogs, we’re committed to making a difference in the lives of pets and their parents. We're searching for a Senior Digital Content Producer who is as comfortable in front of the lens as they are behind it. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in executing our content strategy by serving as a primary face for our brand. You’ll film, edit, and star in content for platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Ideally, you are a dog owner who can feature your own pet in high-performing, relatable ad content. You'll play a crucial role in driving our video ad production by creating premium UGC style content. You'll manage shoots where you serve as the lead talent, creating highly innovative content for both paid and organic campaigns. Your work—and your presence on camera—will directly contribute to revenue growth and audience engagement.

Requirements

  • Highly comfortable and charismatic in front of the camera; ability to deliver scripts naturally and authentically.
  • 3-5 Years in DTC Social Content: Experience producing high-performing social media content (Meta, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Experienced in managing content shoots with a focus on live-action.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro.
  • Exposure to direct response marketing in an e-commerce context.

Nice To Haves

  • Dog Owner (Preferred): Ideally owns a dog and is able to feature them in regular video content to demonstrate product benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and star in User-Generated Content (UGC) that achieves high performance, demonstrating strong hooks and authentic audience appeal.
  • Effectively utilize your own dog (ideally) to create "day-in-the-life" and "product-in-use" content that resonates deeply with our community of pet parents.
  • Effectively manage and execute regular live-action content shoots, whether featuring yourself, actors, or customers.
  • Partner with Creative Strategists & Media Buyers to optimize creative based on performance data to ensure ad content delivers measurable results.
  • Acting as the primary talent and manager for new ads, focusing on live, relatable, and experimental formats.
  • Developing high-energy content with a strong emphasis on engaging hooks and viral potential.
  • Managing the entire production process from concept through final edit using Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut.
  • Working with Creative Strategists & Media Buyers to iterate on successful "winning" content.
