About The Position

At Big Think Creative, we collaborate with our partners to shape and share their biggest ideas. We’re a team of editors, directors, designers and strategists - but also dreamers, builders and lifelong learners. And we bring expertise, enthusiasm and endless curiosity to everything we do. From emerging technology to human connection, we know how to make people lean in, think twice and expand their perspectives. We create custom content in all formats, including expert interviews, field documentaries, written features and social shorts. We work with a wide range of partners, and our campaigns have won several awards including Digiday's In-House Studio of the Year 2025. As a Senior Director, you will oversee the creative vision and execution of sponsored, original, non-fiction videos under Big Think Creative Studio. You will direct content for Bigthink.com, as well as white-label partner content. Our videos employ a mix of original footage, on-camera hosting, voice-over, motion graphics, and music to make the story come to life - and it will be up to you to make them feel fresh, engaging, and optimized for their intended audiences - as well as making sure they meet partner expectations and objectives. Expertise in our core subject areas is a huge plus: science, tech, business, health, psychology, and human interest / mission-driven storytelling. You may also be asked to serve as a creative lead on certain partnerships, building trusted partner relationships, guiding the team through the production process, and leading on cross-platform creative strategy.
