About The Position

The Senior Director of Marketing will lead brand, growth, and guest engagement strategies across an expanding restaurant portfolio of 11 distinct concepts operating in four states. This role is responsible for building scalable marketing systems while preserving each brand's unique identity. The ideal candidate is both a big-picture strategist and a hands-on operator with deep experience in hospitality, multi-unit marketing, and team leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven success in multi-unit, multi-brand restaurant or hospitality environments
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, performance media, and guest data strategies
  • Experience leading teams and managing agencies and vendors
  • Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into action
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Willingness to travel across markets as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting rapid growth, new concept launches, or geographic expansion
  • Background in casual or fast-casual dining, bars, or lifestyle hospitality brands
  • Familiarity with loyalty platforms, POS integrations, and restaurant tech ecosystems

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the overarching marketing strategy across all restaurant concepts while maintaining distinct brand voices and positioning
  • Develop annual and long-term marketing plans aligned with company growth, revenue, and brand objectives
  • Partner with executive leadership on concept launches, rebrands, market expansions, and M&A integrations
  • Act as brand steward, ensuring consistency and excellence across all guest touchpoints
  • Create scalable marketing frameworks that can be customized by concept, region, and market
  • Lead local store marketing (LSM) initiatives to drive traffic and community engagement
  • Collaborate with operations to support new openings, promotions, and operational priorities
  • Analyze market performance and adjust strategies by region and concept
  • Oversee digital channels including websites, social media, email/SMS, loyalty, third-party platforms, and online reputation
  • Lead paid media, performance marketing, and attribution strategies to drive measurable ROI
  • Own guest data, CRM, and loyalty strategy to increase frequency, retention, and lifetime value
  • Monitor trends in restaurant marketing, tech, and consumer behavior
  • Guide creative direction for campaigns, menus, in-store assets, and digital content
  • Manage internal creative teams and/or external agencies, freelancers, and vendors
  • Ensure content reflects each brand's personality while meeting performance goals
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team
  • Own marketing budgets across concepts; allocate resources efficiently and strategically
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to track performance and inform decisions
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration with operations, culinary, finance, and HR
