The Senior Director, Patient Support Services collaborates on strategic planning, developing goals and objectives, and priority setting for areas of responsibility that support care management, utilization review and patient transitions. Accountability for developing and establishing a strategic vision and implementing initiatives that achieve optimal patient support across the care continuum. Assumes 24-hour accountability for the delivery of professional care and the allocation of resources for the assigned areas of responsibility. Partners with multidisciplinary teams and is responsible for patient care management and utilization review metrics, productivity/outcome measures, and adherence to professional practice standards for appropriate roles. The Senior Director, Patient Support Services will cultivate and sustain a culture that embraces and exemplifies professional practice, the development of future leaders and leadership excellence. Accountable for the planning, development, provision, and continuous improvement of all services within case management (care management, utilization review, social work, SCAN), patient support (school, play therapy and creative arts, child life, translation services), and guest services (cultural navigation, food security, family resource center, car seat program).
