About The Position

The Senior Director, Revenue & Distribution Analytics is a key leader within Marriott’s Enterprise Data, Analytics & AI organization, responsible for driving advanced analytics and intelligence  that support Marriott’s global revenue and distribution strategies. By integrating data from multiple touchpoints—including revenue performance, distribution channel trends, and market share insights—this leader ensures Marriott optimizes topline performance and empowers discipline leaders with actionable, data-driven recommendations.  As a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, the Senior Director combines deep business acumen with advanced analytics expertise to influence enterprise priorities and transformation efforts. This leader fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-impact solutions aligned with Marriott’s strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in analytics or related fields, including significant leadership responsibility.
  • Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams and influence executive stakeholders.
  • Expertise in enterprise analytics strategy, data interpretation, and guiding organizational decision-making at scale.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills for senior audiences; strong business acumen and change management expertise.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of revenue management principles, distribution channel dynamics, and market share performance drivers preferred.
  • Experience analyzing topline performance trends, including pricing, channel mix, and demand patterns preferred.
  • Familiarity with global hospitality and distribution ecosystems, including brand, market, and competitive landscape influences preferred.
  • Knowledge of forecasting methodologies, KPI development, performance measurement frameworks, and initiative impact analysis preferred.
  • Expertise in customer feedback methodologies, including surveys and sentiment analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the analytics vision and roadmap for Loyalty, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Oversee analytics across Loyalty, integrating insights to optimize guest experience and business performance.
  • Advanced Analytics Delivery: Develop and implement advanced analytics capabilities to support strategic decision-making across all business units.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive audiences and operational teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Corporate and Continent leaders to embed analytics into business planning and execution.
  • Champion data literacy and drive adoption of analytics tools across the organization.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing analytics team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee resource allocation and portfolio prioritization to deliver high-impact initiatives efficiently.
  • Governance & Innovation: Ensure data governance, quality, and ethical use of AI across all domains.
  • Monitor emerging trends and technologies to keep Marriott at the forefront of analytics innovation.
  • Executive Influence: Represent analytics in executive forums and serve as a trusted advisor on data-driven strategies.
