As our Senior Director of Workplace Engineering, you will have the mandate to bring fresh, innovative ideas that completely rethink what workplace technology looks and feels like for a modern enterprise. You will lead a world-class team of engineering directors and managers, empowering them to design, build, and deploy the next generation of solutions that power our global offices and enable a seamless hybrid work environment. You will be at the forefront of our strategy, integrating IoT, building automation, and collaboration systems with interior design and architecture to build an iconic HQ that inspires our employees and impresses our guests. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of extensive software development experience, with a proven track record in a senior leadership or management role overseeing software engineers.
  • Demonstrable experience leading the delivery of software products or platforms in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong software engineering background with expertise in modern web technologies and cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure). We value diverse language experience and a strong ability to apply engineering best practices across tech stacks.
  • Experience in overseeing solution design and architecture, driving alignment with business objectives, and optimizing systems for scalability and modernization.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • A strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, comfortable making technical decisions, reviewing designs, and guiding teams through complex engineering challenges.

Nice To Haves

  • Workplace Innovation: Experience building and integrating IoT and automation systems within a new building or a modern workplace environment.
  • AI and Data Expertise: Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience integrating AI-driven tools or features into software products (e.g., chatbots, recommendation systems).
  • System Integration: Expertise in tightly integrating building technology with daily employee-facing systems to create a cohesive user experience.
