About The Position

Merakey is seeking an experienced Senior Executive Director to provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and financial management for programs within the division. This executive role is responsible for driving organizational growth, managing regional performance, and leading high-performing teams while ensuring alignment with Merakey’s mission and strategic goals. Requirements

  • Master's degree in behavioral health or a related field (psychology, counseling, human services or social work)
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience managing a team in the behavioral heath field

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and vision aligned with the organization’s mission and division goals
  • Oversee program operations, program development, and quality outcomes across assigned regions
  • Manage P&L performance, budgeting, and financial planning for assigned programs or states
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing leadership teams while fostering a collaborative culture
  • Develop partnerships with industry stakeholders, payers, and community leaders
  • Analyze market trends and operational performance to identify growth opportunities and improvements
  • Ensure programs operate with accountability, compliance, and high standards of service
