About The Position

SRCTec, LLC is currently seeking a full-time Senior Electronics Test Technician to support manufacturing operations on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) at our location in Syracuse, NY. The selected candidate will test, troubleshoot, and rework production electronic warfare and radar systems, sub-assemblies, and components.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in related field with 8+ years related experience. Any combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Advanced electronics testing background; competent understanding of RF fundamentals and operation
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately employ commercial test equipment (digital multimeters, spectrum and network analyzers, signal generators, RF power meters, oscilloscopes)
  • Advanced computer comprehension skills, to include the Microsoft Office suite, NI MAX, and Python. Linux command line experience is preferred
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations

Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced knowledge of principles to resolve complex problems and facilitate improvement activities
  • Assis with the development of documented test and troubleshoot procedures to support manufacturing operations
  • Oversee and evaluate technical work of more junior technicians
  • Set up and utilize electronic test equipment (digital multimeters, spectrum and network analyzers, signal generators, RF power meters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
  • Execute comprehensive validation tests of radar and electronic warfare systems
  • Identify and accurately document discrepancies during the test process; thoroughly log troubleshoot and rework actions
  • Guide troubleshooting efforts and lead root-cause analysis initiatives; provide detailed reports to technical leadership for development decisions
  • Facilitate the manufacturing process as a key contributing member of the production team
