This is your opportunity to join the Receiver/ Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) Department as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. The department’s primary goal is to design, develop, and support land and sea-based radar systems. We are looking for a unique engineer to enhance the sustainability of our current radar products. The ideal candidate will have experience in legacy radar hardware and software technologies, with an interest and ability to transition these products to current technologies while maintaining and troubleshooting and patching our deployed systems. What You Will Do Support sustainment of legacy radar systems, to involve troubleshooting, maintenance, and patching. Port legacy Unix and VxWorks software to modern Linux systems or identify replacements. Support software integration, testing, and verification. This 1st shift role will be 100% onsite and based in Marlborough, MA.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years prior work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
  • Embedded C/C++ and/or Ada software development experience.
  • Experience developing on VxWorks and Linux/Unix platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with version control systems such as ClearCase or GIT.
  • Experience in shell scripting (e.g., Bash or C Shell).
  • Experience working with VME bus-based systems.
  • Radar domain experience.

Responsibilities
