Your Team, Your Impact Marvell Broadband Analog (BBA) group is an industry leader that supplies transimpedance (TIA) and Optical Driver products for building fiber optical communication systems into Hyperscale Cloud and AI networks worldwide. We are looking for a talented student who has the desire to learn and passion to contribute. As a member of BBA applications engineer team, the candidate will work closely with the cross-functional teams to provide applications support to customers.

Requirements

  • Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Must have work/internship experience or completed graduate coursework/research in each of the following:
  • Transmission line theory, S-parameters, impedance matching.
  • Cadence Virtuoso, HSpice.
  • Signal to Noise Ratio and link budget.
  • Optical fiber communications, amplifier sensitivity, BER, modulators.
  • Linear control systems.
  • MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Design of operational amplifiers, LDO, regulators, Transimpedance amplifiers, Low noise amplifiers.
  • Lab equipment, oscilloscope, power supply, digital meters, analyzers.
  • Computer programming language: Python and C.
  • Other computer skills: Word, Powerpoint,
  • Digital integrated circuit layouts.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage customer samples activities.
  • Provide application instructions and recommendations to customers.
  • Collect and circulate the customers' feedback.
  • Provide timely responses to customer questions.
  • Debug and root cause customer issues and customer RMAs.
  • Design and maintain evaluation boards and test fixtures.
  • Generate the evaluation board test data and manuals.
  • Work with product line manager to generate product requirement document, datasheet, application notes, white paper, and other documentations.
