Toole Design Group in Kansas City, MO is looking to hire an experienced and talented full-time Senior Engineer (Civil/Roadway). Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and mentor an interdisciplinary team to deliver multimodal transportation infrastructure.
  • Brainstorm creative solutions for challenging projects.
  • Fulfill production work on projects using programs such as MicroStation and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
  • Develop feasibility studies, concept plans, and construction documents.
  • Participate in business development pursuits in the home region and across North American offices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering.
  • Professional engineering license in MO and KS (or ability to obtain).
  • 8+ years of experience in civil engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in project or design management role.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation (including OpenRoads) and AutoCAD (including Civil 3D).
  • Experience coordinating utility, right-of-way, street lighting, traffic signals, and landscape and hardscape layout.
  • Experience developing construction documents and cost estimates.
  • Exposure to construction management is a plus.
