Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
In addition to a degree, three (3) years or more of relevant engineering experience, including progressive responsibility in asset performance, reliability, or operations engineering

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
In addition to a degree, six (6) years or more of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives that deliver measurable business results
Strong background in reliability engineering, condition monitoring, and asset performance optimization
Advanced analytical capabilities with experience using tools such as Aveva PI (PI Vision, PI DataLink), Seeq, Power BI, or other data analytics platforms
Demonstrated expertise in O&M cost modeling and lifecycle cost optimization
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, influence stakeholders, and exercise sound engineering judgment in high-impact decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership.
Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical development initiatives
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for Operations KPIs, driving performance strategy and continuous improvement initiatives related to asset availability, reliability, and generation performance.
Lead the development, governance, and execution of enterprise-level asset recovery strategies, partnering cross-functionally with Field Operations, Procurement, Asset Strategy, Development, and Engineering to mitigate risk and optimize lifecycle performance
Leverage and continuously improve the Request for Technical Assistance (RTA) and Management of Change (MOC) programs, ensuring technical rigor, process discipline, risk mitigation, and timely resolution of complex operational issues
Contribute to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) cost modeling efforts for prospective wind, solar, and battery storage projects, providing technical and financial guidance to Development, Finance, and Underwriting teams to inform investment decisions and long-term asset strategy
Synthesize complex technical, operational, and financial data into executive-level presentations and reports; provide clear recommendations to senior leadership that drive business outcomes
Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers and cross-functional stakeholders, fostering a culture of engineering excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
Champion reliability engineering best practices, standardization efforts, and performance benchmarking across the fleet
