About The Position

What YOU will do Design, develop, document, test and debug control and diagnostic systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Design and implement build procedures that are used to support hardware and software product development and use. Ensure hardware and software standards are met. Develop software configuration standards for company-wide use, which includes control modeling (model-based design). Measure and analyze software designs for equipment/products to ensure current and future needs of the business are met. Build and implement procedures that are used to support hardware and software product development and functions. Operate equipment and computer systems for testing and software design purposes to facilitate to facilitate operations and sure that established objects are achieved. Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determine end user needs by analyzing system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements and input data acquisition. Conduct tests and perform debugs of control and diagnostic systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.

Requirements

  • Must possess at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer or related role.
  • In the alternative, at least a master's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related role would be acceptable.
  • Must possess at least 3 years of experience developing software using any of the high level programming languages in Safety Critical software development process (e.g. C, C++, Ada, Python).
  • Must possess at least 2 years of DO-178B development experience.
  • Must possess at least 2 years of experience in the Avionics industry.
  • Non-US Person - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
  • The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position.
  • The company will not seek an export authorization for this role.
