About The Position

Stitch Fix’s Merchandising Engineering team is looking for a thoughtful, empathetic, and people-first Senior Engineering Manager to join us. In this role, you will lead and grow high-performing engineering teams while owning and improving the end-to-end procurement journey—from product discovery and buying decisions to purchase orders and physical receipt in our warehouses. You will mentor and develop engineers, set clear technical and execution standards, and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning. Our team builds platforms and tools that empower buyers, planners, pricing, and product lifecycle partners, and we measure success by the business impact we deliver. We are motivated by improving inventory quality, simplifying workflows, reducing manual effort, and building scalable systems that support Stitch Fix’s long-term growth. We prioritize fast iteration without compromising quality, with strong attention to detail that powers the personalization Stitch Fix is known for. We are a distributed team working across four time zones and value collaboration, learning, and open communication. With a strong focus on growth and personal development, Stitch Fix offers an environment built on mutual trust and respect where leaders and teams can thrive.
