Join us to invest in yourself, your career, and the financial world. The role We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join the SoFi Money team. You’ll work in a highly collaborative environment, engaging closely with cross-functional Product, Design, and Engineering teams. You’ll also be involved in the entire product lifecycle—from ideation through deployment, with continuous improvement at every stage. In this role, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our banking products and services. We are focused on evolving our Investment system and providing an exceptional end-to-end user experience. This position involves building and maturing member-facing investment services to support new and existing products. Specifically, you will be continuing to cultivate a strong front-end culture to help deliver a top-of-the-line investing experience for our members, all while enabling our teams to grow, learn, and reach their own aspirations. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree, in a technical field
5+ years programming experience, ideally on a modern mobile stack
Experience working on or leading a mobile team at a large company
4+ years management experience
Maintain code quality, performance, and sound architectural principles
Experience working in a collaborative coding environment, refining designs together, working through code reviews and managing pull requests
Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others and get stuff done
Strong sense of responsibility; driving a project from inception to completion
Affinity for solving problems and shipping impactful features, not polishing perfect code or architecture
Experience working in a collaborative coding environment (and git specifically), refining designs together, working through code reviews and managing pull requests

Responsibilities

Lead the development and testing of our systems and services
Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the mobile platforms
Deliver reusable web SDKs, libraries and frameworks to scale our mobile application and drive consistency
Design and maintain systems that improve developer experience across CI/CD, testing, and deployment pipelines.
Define standards and best practices for performance, accessibility, and design system adoption.
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and alignment of core platform capabilities.
Tackle complex technical and organizational challenges that span teams and products.
Mentor engineers, support the technical culture, and help grow the team
Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies
Communicate with project leads, product managers and other software developers
