About The Position

The Account Manager will own and grow relationships with a portfolio of banks, lenders, fintechs, and other ARM industry partners. Acting as a strategic advisor, this role is responsible for driving partner portfolio performance, maximizing recovery outcomes, and ensuring clients fully leverage Bounce’s platform across their collections lifecycle. This position requires a strong familiarity with collections operations, recovery strategies, servicing models and compliance considerations across early-stage, late-stage, and charged-off accounts. The Account Manager works cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs, surface customer insights that help shape product direction, and contribute to building scalable account management processes as the organization continues to grow. The ideal candidate will understand creditor economics, recovery KPIs, and vendor management dynamics. They’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where partner portfolio performance and creditor outcomes are central. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in account management, client services, or relationship management within the collections, ARM, fintech, debt buying, or financial services industries.
  • Clear understanding of collections operations, servicing workflows, delinquency management, charge-off processes, and vendor oversight.
  • Experience managing complex client relationships with banks, lenders, fintechs, or other regulated financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with key recovery performance metrics and creditor economics.
  • A consultative partner who can build credibility quickly, understand customer priorities, and translate needs into actionable solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to retain and grow accounts through renewals, upsells, and strategic expansion opportunities while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • A builder mindset with a strong sense of ownership and bias for action - comfortable helping design processes, playbooks, and best practices as the organization scales.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who works effectively to solve partner portfolio challenges.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and motivated by solving problems end-to-end in fast-paced, evolving startup environments.
  • Proactive problem-solver who has a track record of delivering value and active solutions to partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a nationwide portfolio of financial services named accounts (banks, lenders, fintechs, and other creditors), serving as the primary point of contact across the partnership lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for recovery, servicing, operations, compliance, and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead structured business reviews focused on recovery outcomes, operational efficiency, regulatory alignment, and long-term strategy.
  • Drive retention and revenue growth by identifying expansion opportunities, supporting renewals, and partnering on commercial negotiations.
  • Translate client feedback and market insights into actionable product enhancements aligned with evolving ARM regulatory and operational needs.
  • Support renewals, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations with a strong understanding of recovery economics and ROI.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver compliant, scalable solutions that align with CFPB, FDCPA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to building repeatable account management playbooks tailored to the collections and receivables ecosystem.
