About The Position

As a Senior Field Service Technician | Building Automation Systems here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced technical support and expertise to our customers in the Automation and Controls business unit in Charlotte. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business. You will report directly to our Field Service Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our premiere showcase site at our global headquarters in Charlotte, NC. This location serves as a hub for innovation and collaboration, providing you with a unique opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals. You will report to the Field Service Supervisor based in Morrisville, NC. In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing exceptional technical support and service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience with building automation systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in Automation and Controls technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in project management and execution
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Honeywell building management systems products such as Niagara, JACE, ComfortPoint, EBI, BACnet or LON.
  • Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry advancements
  • Results-oriented approach and ability to drive projects to successful completion
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical/professional certificate
