Senior Field Technician - Secure Communications & Radio Systems

Currently, GDIT is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Field Technician IV to join our team in an OCONUS location. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT This position, Field Technician IV, is critical to sustaining secure, reliable communications and ensuring uninterrupted operational readiness across the Iraq region. ● Support of mission-critical communications systems in operational or deployed environments. ● Experience with Motorola trunked radio systems (architecture, configuration, sustainment) ● Hands-on experience with POST radio programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting ● Strong IT systems support experience for secure and distributed networks ● Ability to perform maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and sustainment on communications infrastructure ● Experience with COMSEC handling, procedures, and compliance ● Proven troubleshooting and incident response for complex system outages ● Ability to perform tower work at elevations exceeding 100 feet ● Experience operating in austere or high risk environments WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your technical field expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The likely hourly rate for this position is between $45.36 - $61.36. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
