Let’s innovate the infinite, together. As a Senior Finance Analyst, you are at the center of the company’s financial insight engine. Your day blends forecasting, program finance, and cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Accounting, and Business Development. You analyze project performance, monitor forecast accuracy, support program profitability decisions, and translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for leadership. From EAC reviews to rolling cash flow forecasts, you help ensure financial performance aligns with operational execution in a fast-paced aerospace and defense environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 7 or more years of related experience, preferably in an aerospace or defense engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced computer skills with strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and data visualization tools.
  • Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, advanced functions) and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Experience with FAR/DFARS, DCAA audit compliance, and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to operate tactically and detail-oriented when needed.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance; active clearance preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM); experience with Cobra and MS Project a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Financial Planning & Analysis: Perform financial forecasting, modeling, and performance analysis, providing drivers, bridges, and commentary that help leadership understand results and improve financial outcomes.
  • Own Program Finance Forecasting: Partner with Program Management to maintain Estimates at Completion (EACs), assess program profitability, justify financial reserves, and roll program forecasts into the company outlook.
  • Monitor Variances & Improve Forecast Accuracy: Analyze trends and forecast changes, identify root causes of variances, and strengthen forecast reliability through data analysis and process refinement.
  • Develop Reporting & Visualization Tools: Leverage data visualization tools and financial systems to deliver clear, concise, and meaningful insights to the Director of Accounting and CFO.
  • Support Cash Flow Planning: Work with Supply Chain to report on open commitments, planned cash disbursements, and invoice timing to maintain a rolling cash flow forecast.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Financial Data: Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Accounting to ensure financial records, inventory, and project demand align with production schedules.
  • Integrate Business Development Pipeline: Collaborate with Business Development to incorporate contract awards and pipeline timing into the rolling financial forecast.
  • Drive FP&A Process Improvements: Enhance existing tools and procedures while developing new solutions that improve reporting efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and financial insight.
  • Provide Leadership-Level Financial Insight: Deliver timely and accurate financial analysis to Program Management, the Director of Accounting, and CFO, highlighting risks, corrective actions, and performance trends.
