This position has the opportunity to interface with, and have a positive impact on, multiple areas of Wintrust's business We hold ourselves accountable to high standards, share wins, operate ethically, and have fun Position Overview The Senior Financial Analyst – Accounting Policy will perform accounting research and aid in the development of recommendations to stakeholders regarding complex technical accounting issues (e.g., derivatives, consolidations, leases, acquisitions, etc.), new transactions/products, and corporate initiatives in accordance with the Organization’s accounting policies and practices, and authoritative accounting standards. Further, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in monitoring and communicating the status of emerging accounting guidance and its potential impact to the organization. This position reports to the Assistant Vice President - Accounting Policy (“AVP – AP”) and will interact and work directly with Senior Management of the Company, including the Senior Vice President of Financial Reporting & Policy (“SVP – FRP”) and Chief Accounting Officer (“CAO”).
