About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Senior Financial Analyst who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will: • Support the financial operations of Physician Enterprise as well as other AHC entities on an as needed basis. • Analyze physician compensation plans, productivity metrics, and incentive structures. • Prepare compensation models, forecasts, and financial impact analyses. • Ensure compensation arrangements comply with applicable healthcare regulations (e.g., fair market value standards and regulatory guidelines). • Maintain and update compensation files, tracking productivity measures such as RVUs, quality metrics, and performance incentives. • Audit physician compensation payments for accuracy and consistency. • Support contract review and compensation benchmarking activities. • Generate regular and ad hoc reports for leadership. • Assist with compensation plan design, implementation, and revisions. • Document policies, procedures, and methodologies related to physician compensation. • Participate in the annual budget process through: • preparing the Physician Compensation Budget for Adventist Medical Group and AHC Imaging • Performing account analysis, trend review and volume projections • Routinely updating and interacting with senior entity leadership • Compilation and issuance of routine deliverables, in conjunction with the monthly accounting close process. • Ad hoc reporting, including integrated revenue/expense analyses, statistical analyses, and pro-forma analyses, as needed. • Support the preparation and compilation of presentations for upper-level management. • Attend, participate in, and present at meetings with upper-level management.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, finance or health related field, Masters prepared preferred.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in financial analysis and management required, including commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures. Working knowledge of health care industry and/or hospital operations preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and budget/forecasting software.
  • Ability to work independently and handle a multi-task environment.
  • Able to actively participate on a team, supporting other team members and offering assistance to others as needed.
  • Strong customer service skills on the telephone, email, and face-to-face contact.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be creative, enthusiastic and a strategic thinker.
  • Must have the ability to guard confidential information.
  • Must have the ability to plan and coordinate projects from start to finish, set and meet objectives, budgets and deadlines, be attentive to detail and have strong communication/presentation skills.
  • Must have tact and good judgment.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Must have the ability to work directly with upper-level management (i.e. “C” level executives) through face-to-face contact, email and telephone.
  • Must have the ability to present reports/findings/presentations to large groups of people, including upper-level management (i.e. “C” level executives).
