About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst provides financial planning, analysis, reporting, and modeling support to ensure the clinic’s financial health and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with clinical and administrative leadership to analyze costs, forecast revenues, and support strategic and operational decisions that directly impact patient services. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, healthcare finance knowledge, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field (required)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of financial analysis or healthcare finance experience
  • Experience in clinic, hospital, or health system environments preferred
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial modeling
  • Experience using ERP systems, Excel, and financial dashboards
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of healthcare finance, clinical cost structures, and reimbursement processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and present insights clearly to leadership
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Perform variance analysis and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Support revenue and expense forecasting across clinical and administrative areas
  • Assist in the development of annual operating budgets
  • Monitor performance against budget and provide recommendations for corrective actions
  • Support long-range financial planning initiatives
  • Analyze healthcare service costs, labor expenses, and operational expenditures
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, productivity improvements, and efficiency gains
  • Partner with clinical leadership to understand cost drivers and resource utilization
  • Analyze patient service revenue, payer mix, and reimbursement trends
  • Evaluate the financial impact of reimbursement changes and service mix shifts
  • Support revenue optimization and financial sustainability initiatives
  • Build and maintain financial models for clinical services, capital projects, and operational changes
  • Support strategic decision-making with scenario analysis and financial projections
  • Support compliance with financial policies, healthcare regulations, and internal controls
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data and documentation
