About The Position

The Sr. Financial & Analytics Analyst will directly support the Facilities & Maintenance ("FM") department to help increase service levels and lower costs by creating and maintaining operational metrics, dashboards and reporting. The primary focus of this role is to produce and effectively communicate actionable, data-driven recommendations and/or decisions through the synthesis and analysis of large amounts of data. A successful team member will be resourceful and take the initiative to use their highly refined problem-solving skills in order to make a tangible impact on the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Data Science
  • 3+ years of relevant professional work experience (paid, non-academic, non-intern)
  • Ability to quickly learn the business, identify key financial and operational drivers and translate requirements into product deliverables
  • High proficiency & professional experience with all Microsoft Suite Applications with an emphasis on Excel-based financial modeling and Power BI dashboard and visualization creation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to interact and communicate with Sr. Level Executives in a professional manner on a daily basis

Responsibilities

  • Analyze 2M annual FM service requests, amounting to over $1B in spend to identify trends, patterns and anomalies to support business and cost optimization
  • Develop and maintain detailed dashboards which help highlight insights, opportunities and risks that can be used for data-driven decision making
  • Influence decision making with data-supported findings through effective and efficient verbal presentation and written communication
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators and operational metrics using data analytics tools
  • Continuously improve existing department processes, systems and reporting
  • Create or provide supplemental data and information for Sr. Executive-level presentations and reports
  • Complete ad-hoc projects as requested
  • Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional key stakeholders to gather and understand team-specific data, dashboard requirements or present key findings
