We push the boundaries of material science to engineer solutions that continually exceed customer expectations. This brand-new position will be responsible for owning the overall product line strategy for electric water pumps in data centers, specifically targeting Coolant Distribution Units (CDU), server racks and trays, and overall data center liquid cooling systems.

  • Own the overall product line strategy for Industrial pumps targeting data center applications.
  • Deliver 'spec-in' and revenue growth for data center pumps by driving the creation of a complete portfolio.
  • Develop, own, and deliver on a market-driven product roadmap for Gates pump technologies.
  • Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) interviews to determine future needs of technologies and customers.
  • Support and drive the New Product Development process to achieve desired results.
  • Drive new product commercialization through development of marketing and commercialization materials.
  • Support the P&L for the product line, including cost-down initiatives and pricing strategies.
  • Manage manufacturing footprint and capacity planning.
  • Support the preparation of effective quotations, bids, and related negotiation documentation.
  • Support development of inorganic pipeline to accelerate Gates adoption in this space.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technical or Business from an accredited institution required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in product line management, marketing, or related fields.
  • Experience leading mechanical and/or fluid products with hands-on experience in electronic systems.
  • Sales or technical experience with data centers, CDUs, and/or pump technologies is a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and graphical representation.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills for executive-ready presentations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including international travel.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • Direct experience with printed circuit boards (PCB) and communication protocols such as CAN and Modbus.
