About The Position

Senior Graphic Designer – Product The Senior Graphic Designer will support the Product team by developing innovative graphics, illustrations, and packaging concepts for Corkcicle’s core assortment, seasonal collections, and licensed partnerships. This role is responsible for translating product concepts into production-ready artwork and specification packages that meet manufacturing and vendor requirements. The Senior Graphic Designer will collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and licensing partners to ensure designs align with brand standards, licensor guidelines, and commercial objectives. Responsibilities include creating original artwork, tech packs, packaging layouts, and visual presentations, while staying informed on emerging design trends, materials, and production techniques that inform new product development. This position is based in Central Florida with a hybrid weekly office (3 days) schedule requirement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of professional graphic design or related creative experience, preferably within an in-house creative or brand team environment.
Self-starter with the ability to think creatively, work independently and as a part of a team to solve problems and identify opportunities.
Strong artistic aptitude.
Ability to come up with concept, rendering an/or inspiration storyboard that engages, attracts, communicates, and sells.
Able to meet aggressive deadlines, consistently delivering exemplary work while, juggling multiple priorities and calmly working through continuous distractions.
Willingness to mentor, train and evaluate other in-house designers.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and data accuracy.
Strong organizational skills.
Goal-oriented.
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
Must be proficient with ability to deliver general correspondence and oral/visual presentations.
Comfort level attending, contributing in and presenting at business meetings.
Expert knowledge of software such as Adobe InDesign, Photo Shop, Illustrator, Acrobat and nominated AI platforms.
Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office, Mac and Google Docs
Ability to work within the core hours of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional needs to accommodate a flexible schedule outside of core hours / weekdays.

Responsibilities

Develop innovative product graphics and design concepts for core assortment, seasonal launches, and licensed or partnership collections, ensuring alignment with brand standards, market trends, and commercial objectives.
Manage multiple licensed and partnership projects concurrently while ensuring all designs adhere to licensor brand guidelines, approval processes, and compliance requirements.
Create original illustrations for use on Corkcicle products.
Illustrate icons, logos, characters for Corkcicle products and patterns.
Prepare and deliver production-ready artwork for Corkcicle product designs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with manufacturing specifications.
Prepare product files on required templates for hand-off to manufacturing and/or licensed partners.
Research and monitor emerging trends in color, graphic design, and product development to help inform innovative product concepts.
Evaluate new methods for applying art on Corkcicle products.
Create and pitch new concepts for packaging design.
Prepare packaging file layouts and die-lines for manufacturing.
Photoshop product photos and drawings to provide both form and function direction to vendors and manufacturers.
Provide design and technical support to the Custom department as needed, including addressing artwork questions and preparing or adjusting files for production.
