About The Position

The Senior Graphic Designer will develop compelling, visually engaging design solutions in alignment with company brand standards, ensuring consistency without sacrificing creativity, across multiple channels. This role operates with a high level of autonomy and is expected to help shape creative direction. In addition to strong craft, technical execution, and time management skills, the Senior Designer brings sound judgment in ambiguous situations. They make informed decisions that align with business goals and help elevate the overall quality of work produced by the team. This role partners cross-functionally, presents work with a clear rationale, and provides mentorship and strong direction to other designers. The Senior Graphic Designer position reports to the Manager, Graphic Design/Art Director and will be based out of our home office in Topeka, Kansas. We work a hybrid schedule, offering flexibility to work both remotely and on-site. Our team emphasizes accountability, open feedback, and structured career development. Requirements

  • 4-6 year’s experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related degree.
  • Demonstrated Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Demonstrated Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Strong attention to detail (error-free work is critical).
  • Thorough understanding of the creative process.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro and/or After Effects.
  • Basic knowledge of Figma or similar interface design tools.
  • Ability to follow defined processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Takes ideas from concept to final execution on both large and small-scale projects across print and digital outputs while ensuring brand compliancy and timelines are met.
  • Applies systems-level thinking to projects, ensuring solutions scale effectively across platforms and align with evolving brand standards.
  • Applies and interprets brand standards independently, making sound design decisions within the design system.
  • Prepares and packages files for print and digital outputs independently, anticipating technical requirements.
  • Reviews final proofs and layouts, identifying issues and suggesting improvements
  • Maintains and applies established processes, procedures, and project management practices to support efficient execution.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally, communicating design rationale clearly and responding to feedback constructively.
  • Maintains working knowledge of current design tools and practices
  • Supports additional business needs as assigned.
