About The Position
The Senior Contracting Specialist maintains the company’s direct hotels portfolio in assigned destinations, focusing on visibility, competitiveness, and strong supplier partnerships. This includes negotiating rates, managing inventory, and ensuring contractual accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Studies, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Very Good in English & Arabic is mandatory.
- 3–5 years of contracting or yielding experience in OTA/TA/Wholesale/Bedbank.
- Hands-on knowledge of static and dynamic contracting processes.
- Familiarity with channel managers and hotel distribution systems.
- Strong and compelling negotiator.
- Analytical and commercially driven.
- Proactive and results-focused with problem-solving ability.
- Clear communicator with external partners and internal teams.
- Flexible and agile in dynamic markets
Responsibilities
- Negotiate competitive rates, allocations, and commissionable agreements.
- Monitor competitor pricing and availability; recommend yielding actions.
- Liaise with the Contracting Manager on hotel production volumes and promotions.
- Ensure hotel content accuracy (facilities, photos, contact details).
- Resolve booking issues, book-outs, and escalations with suppliers.
- Provide insights on market performance, promotional opportunities, and competitor activity.
- Attend trade fairs and supplier meetings as required.
