About The Position

The Human Resources (HR) Advisor Senior Group Manager for Finance is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department to drive the delivery of day-to-day HR support in coordination with the Human Resources team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of HR services to client groups within an assigned organization. This role will support a global population as well as the Treasury senior leadership including the Treasurer of Citi.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant human resources experience
  • Demonstrated experience delivering HR strategies and solutions for a large, globally dispersed and multi-functional workforce
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influence skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with business leaders and acting as a trusted advisor
  • Track record of building and leveraging relationships with broader HR discipline areas to drive a cohesive, connected HR advisory and delivery model for client groups.
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple teams of HR professionals to accomplish established people priorities and oversee key HR initiatives (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring, workforce management, and disciplinary actions)
  • Provide broad range of HR consulting services to Organization as well as provide advice on Human Capital areas such as talent management, organization effectiveness, reductions in force and employee engagement
  • Serve as strategic business partner with senior business line management to recommend, develop, and execute business and people agenda
  • Develop, attract, and retain talent as well as mentor and develop HR colleagues
  • Direct and plan HR strategy for Treasury team
  • Anticipate, evaluate, and respond appropriately to developments in the local and international environments impacting HR policy and Identify and resolve key complex and diverse HR issues
  • Partner with HR heads and Specialist teams to deliver HR solutions that contribute to the overall Citi business, and enable the business to evolve to meet marketplace and customer needs
  • Serve as key advisor to Strategy, Planning, and Finance senior leaders for all HR related issues
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
