About The Position

We are currently looking for a Senior HR Operations & Benefits Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations across the United States and Canada, ensuring a seamless, compliant, and employee-centered experience throughout the employee lifecycle. This role serves as the primary HR Operations point of contact for the US and Canada and operates independently within a lean global HR team.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Operations role, including hands-on experience managing US benefits and leave administration
  • Working knowledge of US federal and multi-state employment laws, including leave regulations and benefits compliance
  • Experience supporting annual Open Enrollment and benefits renewals
  • Experience participating in recruiting processes in a lean HR environment
  • Working knowledge of HR systems; ADP or comparable HRIS experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage compliance-sensitive processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and seasonal peaks
  • Comfortable operating independently
  • Service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead administration of employee benefits and leave programs across the United States and Canada
  • Manage annual benefits renewals and Open Enrollment in partnership with existing brokers and vendors
  • Handle ongoing benefits operations, employee inquiries, and leave cases in compliance with federal and multi-state regulations
  • Partner on recruiting processes across the US and Canada, including coordination, candidate experience, and process execution, in collaboration with HR colleagues
  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
  • Maintain and update employee records related to hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and terminations
  • Ensure data accuracy across HR systems (ADP, HiBob, and internal platforms)
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows, documentation, and operational efficiency
  • Support audits and reporting requirements as needed
