About The Position

Under CHRO direction, contributes to the HR strategy, design, and implementation, working to align HR practices with organizational goals. Directs, plans, implements, and enhances the HR functions and daily operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and 7-10 years of progressive Human Resources experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Comprehensive and current knowledge of Federal, State, and local employment law and legislation.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-faced environment with personnel from all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills (speaking, writing, and listening), diplomacy skills, and organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent managerial skills; ability to effectively support and motivate a team.
  • Tact and ability to manage difficult situations and make difficult decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR, SPHR, or similar certification preferred.
  • Experience with Collective Bargaining work force preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the organization’s strategic goals by developing and aligning human resource strategies accordingly.
  • Collaboratively design, plan, implement, and enhance the organization’s human resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • Maintain and enhance work structure by ensuring job requirements, job descriptions, and performance criteria for all positions are updated regularly.
  • Conduct routine compensation analysis; recommend, plan, and implement pay revisions.
  • Manage and enhance the entire employee life cycle, including onboarding, orientation, employee development, performance management, and separation.
  • Oversee stay interviews and exit interviews; analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead performance management processes and provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee performance and development.
  • Lead Leave of Absence process, ensuring effective and timely communication to employees, managers and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive work environment.
  • Effectively manage complaints, conduct investigations, and resolve employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a strong sense of teamwork and belonging.
  • Stay current on HR laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's compliance.
  • Collaborate to develop and update HR policies and procedures to align with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure HR processes and documentation are in compliance.
  • Work with company leaders to identify training needs and facilitate relevant programs.
  • Implement and support career development initiatives to foster employee growth and succession planning.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with regulations; collaborate with external vendors to optimize benefit offerings.
  • Adhere to the PRIME Safety Program, complying with safety regulations, procedures and safe work practices.
  • Maintain a physical presence onsite and provide assistance to specific groups, managers and project management teams as needed.
