About The Position

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to oversee the tactical execution of cybersecurity assessment efforts supporting IRS enterprise systems.
In this role, you will manage daily coordination across technical teams, ensuring security assessments are delivered on time, aligned with federal compliance standards, and meet IRS quality expectations.
This is an opportunity to operate in a structured federal environment while driving real accountability, performance, and results.
This position is being recruited for upcoming work supporting the IRS and is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience
• 5+ years leading cybersecurity or technical project teams
• Experience in federal or highly regulated environments
• PMP or PgMP certification

Responsibilities

• Oversee lifecycle execution of system security assessments
• Coordinate multidisciplinary cybersecurity and compliance teams
• Track milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics
• Ensure alignment with FISMA and agency reporting standards
• Engage directly with government stakeholders and leadership
