At MMGY, we inspire people to go places. We have an immediate opening for a Senior Integrated Strategist, based in our Overland Park, KS office. The Senior Integrated Strategist helps MMGY win high-stakes opportunities. You will shape the strategic approach behind major proposals and pitches, from the core idea to the story we tell and the proof we use to back it up. You will turn early discovery and research into clear briefs that creative and media teams can build from quickly. You will also partner with our Strategic Planning team on select client strategy assignments, translating research into insights and practical guidance.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in brand strategy, agency new business or integrated marketing.
Strong critical thinking and writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas into clear direction.
Working knowledge of integrated agency services including paid media, creative, branding, PR and strategy.
Comfortable leading working sessions and helping build consensus among senior stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.
Curious, resourceful and comfortable using research tools to support strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy for new business proposals and pitches, ensuring clear positioning that matches prospect needs and evaluation criteria.
Turn RFP requirements into a focused response plan, including a clear narrative framework, win themes and proof points.
Develop strategic briefs that guide creative and media development, including audience, insight, message, role of channels and measurement intent.
Partner with subject matter experts across paid media, creative, branding, research, PR and strategy to connect services into one coherent approach.
Support pitch storytelling and presentation development, including prospect-specific framing and talk track outlines.
Adapt pursuit strategies for regional nuance across the Americas and EMEA when needed.
Support Strategic Planning leadership on select client strategy work by distilling research into insights, strategic imperatives and clear guidance for cross-channel teams.
Evaluate creative work through a strategic lens to ensure it stays aligned to the strategy and delivers on the brief.
