We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior Interior Designer to join a highly collaborative and dynamic team with opportunities for growth. The ideal individual will have 10-15+ years of experience and is a self-starter with strong design skills. Professionals with experience in workplace interiors projects are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • A professional degree in Interior Design, or related discipline
  • 10-15+ years of experience
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software; Revit strongly preferred
  • Strong design portfolio
  • Strong competency in interior design specifications, calculations and industry standards, and application of building codes and specifications
  • Ability to direct and coordinate work efforts of junior staff
  • Experience in all phases and aspects of a project
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn
  • Collaborative and professional work ethic
  • LEED AP or within 6 months of hire
  • NCIDQ licensure

Responsibilities

  • Lead design efforts and project teams including design direction and client engagement for marquee workplace projects
  • Design and coordinate detailed design concepts, assist with design and technical coordination among disciplines, and respond to technical implications of design decisions
  • Facilitate program development with project team
  • Be responsible for project design budget, cost control, and schedule
  • Prepare design presentations, assuming lead in client and owner presentations
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants, and vendor assignments including integration of basic engineering systems in overall project design
  • Direct, organize, and mentor junior staff with responsibility for oversight
