Job Overview LPL Financial is seeking an experienced Senior iOS Software Developer to help design, build, and enhance best‑in‑class mobile applications, including our AV2 mobile platform. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and engineers across disciplines to deliver high‑quality, scalable mobile solutions. You will participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, write unit tests, and apply evolutionary design principles to integrate existing business and technology concepts into a flexible and practical mobile platform.

Requirements

5+ years of hands‑on experience developing modern mobile or enterprise applications
5+ years of iOS development experience using Swift and Objective‑C
Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming (OOP), data modeling, and design patterns
Experience designing, refactoring, and writing unit tests for mobile applications
Proven ability to work effectively in an agile development environment
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners

Nice To Haves

Experience developing cross‑functional or enterprise‑scale systems
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, or other version control and CI/CD tools
Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful services
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with an understanding of relational databases and data models

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product owners and team members to translate business needs into well‑designed technical solutions
Participate in sprint planning, agile ceremonies, and delivery of high‑quality demonstrations
Identify technical risks and issues, documenting recommendations and mitigation strategies
Design, develop, refactor, and unit test iOS applications to ensure platform quality and stability
Partner with design and cross‑functional teams to deliver a positive, intuitive client experience
