Position Summary: REDLattice is seeking a Senior iOS Security Engineer to join our team in Springfield, VA. In this role, youll work alongside a team of talented engineers developing, modifying, and maintaining iOS and Darwin/XNU kernellevel components to support advanced mobile-centric efforts. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in C/C++, Objective-C/Swift, Python, and embedded systems, with hands-on experience in iOS kernel or userland vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development. This position offers the opportunity to conduct in-depth research into iOS internals, secure boot chains, sandboxing, and memory protections, contributing to mission-critical capabilities in a collaborative, cutting-edge environment.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in C/C++, Python and embedded systems
  • Experience with iOS or XNU kernel vulnerability research and development
  • Understanding of the iOS or internals, reverse engineering and vulnerability research analysis
  • In-depth understanding of Mobile OS internals and build environments (MakeFile, ADB, etc.)
  • In-depth understanding of network protocols (preferred)
  • Active TS/SCI required

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with modern software engineering concepts (preferred)
  • Knowledge of common CNO techniques (preferred)
  • Knowledge of kernel modules (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and maintain iOS kernel source code
  • Identify vulnerabilities in iOS platforms
  • Regular collaboration, communication and documentation on iOS research and analysis
