About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager – Integration Manager to join our organisation. This is a permanent position where you will lead complex SAP integration initiatives within the pharmaceutical sector, demonstrating exceptional vendor management capabilities and strategic oversight. You will be responsible for orchestrating cross-functional teams, managing critical vendor relationships, and ensuring seamless system integration whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. Lead end-to-end SAP integration projects, from planning and design through implementation and post-go-live support, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints, with comprehensive documentation for knowledge transfer Develop and maintain integration strategies and roadmaps aligned with organisational objectives and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements Manage vendor relationships with discipline and professionalism, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and escalation resolution Analyse complex integration requirements and design robust solutions that optimise system performance, data integrity, and operational efficiency across enterprise platforms Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and capacity planning to ensure efficient utilisation of internal and external resources Establish and enforce project governance frameworks, risk management protocols, and change control procedures Lead cross-functional project teams and conduct stakeholder communications, providing transparent progress updates, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations, data security standards, and organisational policies throughout all integration initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in IT Project Management, with at least 5 years leading SAP integration or ERP implementation projects
  • Proven expertise in vendor management, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and relationship development
  • Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical industry operations, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements
  • Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integration modules, and system configuration capabilities
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid approaches)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to assess complex technical and business challenges
  • Exceptional organisational and time-keeping skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Advanced people skills and proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities with the capacity to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • good experience in managing external vendors
