We are seeking a strategic and results-driven IT Project Manager to lead, plan, and deliver technology initiatives in Spectrum businesses while establishing and institutionalizing enterprise-wide project management best practices. This role will not only manage individual IT projects but also design, implement, and continuously improve standardized project management frameworks, governance models, and processes across the IT organization. You will collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals, strengthen project delivery maturity, and drive consistent, high-quality outcomes across the enterprise. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex IT projects
  • Demonstrated experience designing or improving project management frameworks or governance models
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies
  • Experience implementing enterprise-level project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow)
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and organizational change management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Agile certification (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP)
  • Experience working in enterprise IT environments
  • Experience establishing or scaling a PMO
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, or digital transformation programs

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of selected IT projects from initiation through closure
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Develop detailed project plans and manage schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and third-party partners
  • Monitor project performance and proactively manage risks, issues, and change requests
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide clear status reporting to stakeholders
  • Support testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities
  • Design, implement, and maintain standardized project management methodologies across Spectrum Enterprise IT and businesses
  • Establish enterprise project governance frameworks, stage gates, and approval processes
  • Develop and standardize project documentation templates, reporting dashboards, and KPIs
  • Create portfolio visibility processes to track and prioritize IT initiatives
  • Implement risk management, change control, and resource management frameworks
  • Drive adoption of consistent project management tools and systems
  • Define metrics to measure project success, delivery maturity, and business value realization
  • Continuously assess and improve IT project delivery processes based on lessons learned and industry best practices
  • Train and mentor project managers and IT leaders on standardized processes and methodologies
  • Support the development or maturation of a Project Management Office (PMO)
